Cookie Policy
This page explains what cookies niujom uses, what they do, and how you can control them. We keep the inventory short: only what we need for the platform to work and to understand aggregate usage.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. It keeps information between visits — for example, whether you are signed in, your preferred language, or an anonymous session identifier.
2. Cookies we use
Essential (cannot be disabled)
Required for the site to function. Without them you cannot sign in or save your progress.
sb-*-auth-tokenand related Supabase cookies — keep you signed in. Removed on sign out.lorenzo_sid— anonymous session identifier so the Lorenzo assistant can keep conversation context. Lifetime: up to 180 days.admin_secret— only set for users of the internal admin panel.- Local preferences: theme and language are stored in
localStorage(not cookies, but they serve a similar purpose).
Aggregate analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand, in aggregate, which pages get visited and how fast the platform loads. This analytics is anonymous: it does not assign persistent identifiers and is not cross-referenced with your account. Metrics are aggregated at country, device, and page level.
What we do not do
- We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies.
- We do not share data with social networks for tracking.
- We do not sell behavioral data to third parties.
3. How to control them
You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Each browser has its own path:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Note: if you block essential cookies, you will not be able to sign in or save properties on niujom.
